VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids is pleased to announce Friday and Saturday headlining acts for the celebration of the BBQ Roundup’s 25th Anniversary. National country artist, Josh Gracin will take the stage on Saturday, June 23. Gracin captured the attention of millions of American Idol fans during his Season Two run when he finished 4th in the competition. The ever-popular Dueling Pianos artists, Dean Madonia and Perry Barton will perform on Friday, June 22 from 7:30 – 11:00 pm. Sponsored by the Vault, the duo moved its Cedar Rapids performance to the BBQ Roundup Stage.
All entertainment throughout the event is offered complimentary as part of the $3.00 daily admission fee. Local bands include: Lady Lowe, Soul Fushion, 8 Seconds, Mark Moss, Cedar Island Band, Billy Lee Janey, Magnetos, Matthew Kane and the Band Greenbrier and Stranded in Iowa. This year’s BBQ Roundup returns to the corner of 8th Avenue and 2nd Street SE across from the new Federal Courthouse. Event times are:
Thursday, June 21st, - 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday, June 22nd, - 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 23rd, - 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 24th, - 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

University of Iowa Community Credit Union is returning as a sponsor of FREE LUNCH ADMISSION. This program offers free lunch admission on Thursday and Friday from 11am-3pm. The BBQ Bandwagon will return by popular demand on Thursdays and Fridays 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Find the downtown route on our website: www.crbbqroundup.com.
A trolley will run on Thursday and Friday for the lunch hour between 11:30 to 1:30. The WOW balls (walk on water) are back as a fun activity for all ages. Live music will entertain throughout the day into the evening.
