Enjoy a guided maple syruping experience on Saturday, March 13th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Learn about American Indian and early Colonial sugarmaking. Learn to identify a maple tree in winter, discover how maple trees make their sweet sap, use the sugarmaker's tools to tap a tree, and visit a Vermont-style sugarhouse to learn how sap becomes syrup. End with a taste of real maple syrup on ice cream. Program fee: $3/person.
