Be A Tourist In Your Town During National Tourism Week May 5-13

The Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CRACVB) is asking area residents to Be A Tourist In Your Town during National Tourism Week, May 5-13 and take advantage of special discounts.  Residents are also invited to join the CRACVB for FREE downtown walking tours and an open house on Tuesday, May 8 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

As part of the National Railway Historical Society convention in Cedar Rapids this June, passenger train trips are planned on three Iowa regional railroads: Iowa Interstate, Iowa Northern and Cedar Rapids & Iowa City ("CRANDIC").  These trips will operate from Cedar Rapids to destinations across the region, including Davenport, Newton, Iowa City, and Waterloo.
