Junior League of Cedar Rapids (JLCR) and the Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CRACVB) announced today that Titan Tire Corporation has been named the title sponsor for the Duramed FUTURES Tour event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The sponsorship is for three years.

U.S. Figure Skating 2010 Synchronized Skating Qualifying Competitions coming to Cedar Rapids
The Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Eastern Iowa Figure Skating Club (EIFSC) are pleased to announce that Cedar Rapids has been selected as a site of the U.S. Figure Skating Association's 2010 Midwestern & Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships. The Championships will be hosted by the EIFSC, January 28 - 30, 2010 at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Plans for Regional Economic Commerce Center
The first of its kind in the area, the potential Regional Economic Commerce Center, would stand six-stories tall and be a 60,000 square foot economic cornerstone of Cedar Rapids' downtown. The Chamber is currently working with the Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Downtown District, Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation, Priority One, and the Entrepreneurial Development Center in an effort to create this one-stop shop for regional economic success.
