Cedar Rapids Area CVB Adds Staff

The Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CRACVB) is pleased to announce staff changes, including a new hire and an internal promotion.
“We have added to the CRACVB staff to better service our clients, visitors and industry partners,” said president and CEO, Marilee Fowler. “We are fortunate to have these talented people on our team as we look to the future.”
Heather Deeter was promoted to sales support manager. Deeter is responsible for assisting the convention and sports sales team and providing services to national, regional and local conferences and conventions that book events in Cedar Rapids. Deeter joined the CRACVB in 2009 and most recently served as office manager.
Rebecca Sullens has been hired as office manager. She will oversee daily operations at the welcome center, fulfill client service requests, provide administrative support for CRACVB staff and provide information to area visitors. Sullens previously was an administrative assistant with Robert Half International in Cedar Rapids.
