Take Flight! The Science of Aviation Opens!
Take Flight! the Science of Aviation is opening on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10 am.
Visitors to the museum will enjoy a unique aviation exhibit that will have them:
* Exploring state-of-the-art flight simulators where you can fly out of any airport in the world!
* Engineering their own paper airplane design in a Flight Cage!
* Gazing out at the sky over the Coral Ridge Mall in our two-story Air Traffic Control Tower and landing a plane – a matchbox plane that is!
* Be daring and venturing below through a 14' tube slide to climb aboard a real Cessna 150!
* Climbing into one of six kid-size airplane models and flying around the world!
* Taking a 'ride' in The Iowa Children's Museum's Hot Air Balloon!
* Imagining they are pilots in Pedal Planes!
* Aiming an Air Blaster at super fun targets!
* Releasing Pigs in Parachutes from two stories up!
* Making air rockets and launching them to the ceiling!
* Discovering the world of flight in the NASA Flight Center
