Come Celebrate 30 Years with the CRACVB!
The Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CRACVB) invites the community to join us for our 30 Year Anniversary Celebration Friday, November 13th! The event will be held at 3rd Street Live in the heart of the New Bohemia district and will feature performances by SPT Theatre Company.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a festive, energetic and innovative evening of music! SPT Theatre will perform a set of music from 1979, the year the CRACVB began, and a second 45-minute set of current music.
Well-known and loved by its loyal audience, SPT Theatre includes mother-daughter combination, Jane Pini and Janelle Lauer, singer/actor Doug Elliott and musical director, Gerard Estella. SPT Theatre performs regularly at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and produces a regular Salon at Brucemore show each January.
Don’t miss a drawing for two round trip vouchers for flights from Cedar Rapids to anywhere that Allegiant Air flies from the Eastern Iowa Airport. Those destinations include Mesa, Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Las Vegas. Tickets are courtesy of Allegiant Air, must be present to win!
Admission to the celebration is $10 at the door. Anyone who attends the CRACVB Annual Meeting Luncheon November 12th will be admitted free to the Friday night show.
